Introduction

The Mazursky Group Inc. was founded by Jerome Mazursky in 1985 and in the 40 years since, our team has successfully represented some of New York's largest owners and developers in challenging their assessed values.

Meryl Mazursky joined The Mazursky Group, Inc. in 1994 and worked side by side with Jerome co-leading the firm. Meryl has a degree in Business Management from the University of Maryland and earned a Certified Public Accountant designation in 1990. She was recently promoted from Director to the position of President. Meryl plans to continue the firm's tradition of providing excellent service to its clients.

Jerome Mazursky was the founder of The Mazursky Group Inc. He began his career as a New York City tax assessor and was subsequently appointed to the positions of interim Tax Commissioner of Staten Island and Assistant Commissioner of Finance. Jerome was a New York Certified General Appraiser and earned the professional designations of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) and the International Association of Assessing Officers (CAE).
